West End Video is a production company founded by Ren Tucker. Working across film, television, documentary, and other visual media, West End Video was founded with one goal in mind – to unite audiences of all ages, backgrounds, and tastes under one roof to enjoy fun, funny, authentically human storytelling together. Our guiding rule of thumb: we want to leave you smiling.
We’re interested in comedies that make you think, movies and shows that make you laugh, stories grounded in the world of sports, and ideas that transcend traditional genres. West End Video produces everything from sweeping commercial films to indie web series – our slate is as diverse as our audience, and we wouldn’t want it any other way.
Ren didn’t stumble into Hollywood — he cannonballed into it. From New York’s Tribeca Film Center, where he cut his teeth in development at Demi Moore’s Moving Pictures, he jumped into production on blockbusters like War of the Worlds, Jarhead, and Oblivion, while never losing his indie streak, working on films like Meadowland with Reed Morano, Olivia Wilde, and Luke Wilson. Inspired by the likes of Brian Grazer and Judd Apatow, Ren is drawn to stories that spark curiosity, shift culture, and never take themselves too seriously. He thrives on big, ambitious ideas, and knows the magic resides in humor, heart, and just enough chaos to keep it interesting.
Known for mixing business instincts with a creative edge, Ren is a serial connector with a passion for entertainment. He treats every production like a startup — fast, resourceful, and allergic to boring. His ethos is simple: make the work matter, and make it fun.
Our favorite projects are the ones still to come! If you’re an industry collaborator and want to get involved, give us a shout.
